Things Aren't Quite Working Right at Work?

We’ve all heard stories of people who lived in a house and gradually the windows and doors didn’t shut quite right. Something seemed a little bit off. Surprise, they learned they had foundation problems, and it threw everything out of kilter. The foundation had to be made right so everything else could be back in alignment.
No one wants to buy a house with a bad foundation. The foundation has to be good. But let me ask you this: How many of you have ever looked at a house and said "Oh my, I like that house because it has a good foundation?" Of course not. No one does that.
A good foundation is invisible unless you are looking for it. It is a requirement for a home but not something that adds appeal. But it better be right, because if it isn't, everything that adds appeal is compromised.
Certain parts of your business are the same way. They don't add appeal to the business, but if they aren't right, it threatens the entire operation. I'm talking about things like this:
Dependable Bill Paying
Tax and Regulatory Compliance
Getting along with business neighbors and the community
There are a lot more examples. In general, they are things that don't get attention if they are done right. However, if they aren't done right, you've got a bad foundation and a bunch of problems
Think about it. Is something out of whack and not working quite right? Maybe your business needs a foundation inspection.
